As a Field Service Engineer for this global company, you’ll work with cutting-edge Radiotherapy medical equipment, software and networking systems in NHS and private hospitals. This is a rare opening with a world leading medical technology company.

  • As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll install, network, service, diagnose and repair sophisticated radiotherapy and radiosurgery medical hardware and software in hospitals.
  • Build trusting relationships with customers e.g. Clinical Scientists and Radiotherapy Engineers by delivering a high standard of customer support and technical ability (following full training).
  • Visiting customer sites across the Midlands and Northern England including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Leicester and Birmingham, amongst others. Occasional support of other UK and international regions.


  • This exciting global leader produces ground-breaking radiotherapy and radiosurgery equipment and software, including cutting-edge treatment planning solutions, year after year. They also provide outstanding customer and employee training and support.


  • Minimum two years’ Service Engineer experience in hospital IT networks, e.g. networking medical imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI) or radiotherapy (linac) hardware and PACS, RIS, OIS, or similar healthcare informatics solutions, to clinic / hospital networks.
  • Proven to manage technical projects, troubleshoot and determine root cause issues. Personable, well presented, professional, self-motivated and detail oriented. Probably degree educated in Computer Science, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics or similar.
  • Ideally with Field Service Engineer experience however applications from IT, Radiotherapy or Medical Imaging Engineers working onsite in hospitals are welcome.


  • Salary guide: £45-55,000 (negotiable) depending on experience, plus company car or generous car allowance, food allowance, and excellent benefits.
