Description

As a Field Service Engineer for this global company, you'll work with cutting-edge Radiotherapy medical equipment in NHS and private hospitals. This is a rare opening with a world leading medical technology company.
 

  • As a Field Service Engineer, you'll install, service, diagnose and repair complex radiotherapy and radiosurgery medical hardware and software in hospitals across the UK.
  • Build trusting relationships with customers e.g. Clinical Scientists and Radiotherapy Engineers by delivering a high standard of customer support and technical ability (following full training).
  • The majority of work is performed 9-5, with occasional (not routine) work outside of this.
  • Primarily visiting customer sites across the Midlands and Northern England including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Leicester and Birmingham, amongst others. In addition, supporting other UK and international regions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum two years' Service Engineer experience working with similar medical hardware and / or software i.e. radiotherapy, linac, medical imaging systems or healthcare informatics such as X-ray, CT, MRI, OIS, PACS, RIS or healthcare IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Proven to manage technical projects, troubleshoot and determine root cause issues. Personable, well presented, professional, self-motivated and detail oriented. Degree educated in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics or similar.
  • Ideally with Field Service Engineer experience however applications from Radiotherapy Engineers working in the NHS or Private Hospital Medical Physics depts are welcome.


PACKAGE

  • Salary guide: £45-55,000 (negotiable) depending on experience, plus company car or generous car allowance, food allowance, and excellent benefits.
