As Training Manager for this global market leader in Diabetes blood glucose meters, you will develop and deliver disease, product and sales skill training programmes to the medical sales force.

  • As the Training Manager you will work closely with the Sales Director, Regional Managers and Sales force to develop and deliver disease, product and sales skill training programmes to the field-based sales force.
  • This includes on-boarding and training of new starters (ITC) to ensure confidence and capability, annual training updates, as well as supporting product launches and development of e-learning systems. As Training Manager you'll travel with field-based sales team members to coach and develop their skills on a one-to-one basis to improve individual and team performance.
  • Office based 60-80% of the time you'll ideally live in or close to Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Watford, Hayes, Basingstoke, Woking, Guildford, Aylesbury, Oxford, etc.

  • You are either a current medical sales representative who has experience of training medical sales colleagues OR a former medical sales representative / sales manager who is now a medical sales trainer / Training Manager. You have experience in delivering structured training to others, and ideally the design and delivery of educational / learning and development programmes and materials too.
  • Clear, confident and influential communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience as a Training Manager or a background in learning and development is preferred but not essential.


  • Salary of £50-55,000 + 10% bonus, car or allowance, and great benefits.
